We were proud to be commissioned to work on the new television advert for Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity.
Because of the COVID crisis the Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity experienced a significant drop in fundraising income. They needed to raise awareness in a big way to encourage donations to ensure sick children in their care get the very best treatment, the latest equipment and the most comfortable environment possible.
We wanted to get across in the narrative of the film that when the world seemed to stop, Birmingham Children’s Hospital was still going, providing vital care to the regions sickest children despite the pandemic.
The ad was storyboarded, shot and edited within a 3 week window with the team working with Birmingham born actress Dame Julie Walters DME (a true professional) for the voiceover.
The ad will be shown on ITV1 Central West during key day time slots.
“The team at Ark were fantastic and quickly understood the nature of our brief. Not only did they provide us with some great concepts for the advert but they were incredibly professional in turning this into a reality. The project timeline was tight, but they delivered on time and enabled us to get the ad aired quickly to raise much needed funds. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Ark to anyone wanting to produce a video ad for television or anywhere else for that matter.”
