NSPCC – Diamond Appeal Promotional Video

This promotional video for charity  NSPCC,  a charity campaigning and working in child protection, had the aim to both raise awareness of the NSPCC and the work that they do for local children, but also to help increase the number of volunteers and staff.

The heartwarming video showcases Jenny Farr and the work that she has put into the Nottingham Service Centre over the past sixty years.

‘The video has had a positive impact on our recruitment drive. As the new year approached we had nearly 60 volunteers booked in for recruitment events hosted by the base. Bucking the national trend which shows other bases struggling to attract and retain volunteers. In addition we have had to organise two training events in January and February to accommodate the volunteers waiting to train, having been successful at the interview. Usually, we organise a training group every other month but have had to change our plans due to the demand.

Current volunteers and staff who have viewed the video have been moved by the content. The feedback is that they really value and appreciate the content and the way the role and base have been portrayed. It presents the base as a welcoming and warm environment to work in, as well as making an impact because of the work we do.’ – Childline Senior Supervisor, Samantha Powell
